- Have an understanding of ADHD
- Recognise core symptoms of ADHD
- Understand the treatment options for ADHD
- Understand how to support children and young people with ADHD in your setting
Teaching and learning strategy
A variety of teaching and learning strategies will be facilitated during the theory session to include presentations, question and answer sessions and visual and practical demonstrations.
Target audience
Anyone caring for a child in a community setting who has a diagnosis of ADHD.
Delivery format and duration
- Face to face: 3 hours
- MST: 2 hours 30 minutes
Please note: we recommend that this session be attended face to face due to the interactive nature of the session.
