This course will provide the learner with the skills needed to complete the practical use of an AAI (Auto Adrenalin Injector) assessment on their colleagues. This course will cover the same content as the Anaphylaxis Awareness and use of an AAI, as well as the additional content designed to teach the learner to competently deliver an AAI assessment.
The learner does not need to first attend the Anaphylaxis Awareness and Use of an AAI course first, as the content is delivered during this training.
We provide training on the current devices: Epipen and Jext.
There is one competency assessment required for this training. Learners are not deemed competent until they have completed both theory and practical elements. Face to face sessions include the competency assessment.
The child does not need to be present for the competency assessment.
