Medication Administration Awareness Refresher
This session is designed to update learners on best practice regarding administering medications.
As learners will have previously completed competency in this area, learners will require one competency assessment following attendance at a Refresher session. Learners have the option to choose either a face to-face competency assessment where they will be observed giving medication to a child, or they will be able to complete a scenario-based competency assessment.
Please note that if learners are required to administer controlled medication, they will also need to complete the Medication Awareness: Controlled Drugs course in addition to this refresher.
For guidance how to book this training session please visit our training information page.
