Information on tics
CAMHS Developmental Neuropsychiatry Tic Disorder Service
We support children and young people aged 5-18 to manage conditions such as Chronic Motor Tic Disorder and Tourette Syndrome. We provide advice and consultation to local Paediatric and CAMHS services in relation to assessment and management of tic disorders and common co-morbidities.
We have a strong commitment to researching and teaching in this area and work closely with the Nottingham Institute of Mental Health, Centre for ADHD and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Across the Lifespan (CANDAL).
We are based at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.
