Lucy Rollinson, community learning disabilities nurse and Francheska Dale, Trainee Nursing Associate, from the IDD South Community Learning Disabilities Team have been nominated by a patient who they continue to support and who said Lucy and Frankie are local heroes. He wanted to say thank you publicly for the care they gave him whilst he was experiencing a difficult time in his life. The patient put forward Lucy and Frankie for a BBC East Midlands Today Make a Difference nomination which was aired on the 6.30pm programme. Both Lucy and Frankie said " We feel very proud that both our roles have helped this gentleman and are appreciated by him and his family." Congratulations to you both.
