Nottinghamshire Healthcare has been recognised for its work in supporting employees who are military reservists.
Congratulations to Jane Buchanan, Domestic Team Leader at Lings Bar Hospital who was chosen to attend a special ceremony at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on Monday 5 July. The special event celebrated the 73rd birthday of the NHS and thanked NHS colleagues and other key workers who have worked tirelessly and selflessly throughout the pandemic.
Our Children’s Community Respiratory Physiotherapy (including Rapid Response) service was a finalist in the prestigious NHS Parliamentary Awards.

Congratulations to Anita Astle who is one of our Public Governors in Nottinghamshire County. She has been shortlisted in the RCN Nursing Awards for the Leadership award, recognising her work in care homes through the pandemic.
A project for veterans delivered by Nottinghamshire Healthcare, in partnership with Care after Combat and Project Nova, was a finalist in the HSJ’s Partnership Awards.
The Trust’s Margaret Oates Mother and Baby Unit (MBU), part of Hopewood in Nottingham, has formally received the Perinatal Quality Network (PQN) accreditation by the Royal College of Psychiatrists. The unit has been accredited for 10 years and this reaccreditation is a great testament to their commitment to deliver quality care for mums and their babies.
Dr Pallab Majundar, Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist based at the Bulwell Children's Centre, and colleagues have been successful in publishing two papers in a remarkably important and topical subject of this time, the COVID-19 pandemic, its impact on the wellbeing of the frontline health workers and the strategies to help.
