She is an inspiration and has been committed fully to developing and improving the standard of diabetes care in South Nottinghamshire. She consistently exceeds expectations, dedicating her spare time to projects and education, inspiring and motivating those in her circle. Her efforts have laid the foundations for a remarkable community team masterpiece.

Always looking to reduce health inequalities whilst also being utterly dedicated to those around her makes Trudi one of the most compassionate clinicians I have ever worked with. She is a brilliant team player and is devoted to trying to improve standards of patient care by upskilling practice nurses, specialist nurses, matrons, GPs and other primary care staff so that our patients get the best possible provision wherever they attend. By helping to shape services with commissioners she has gained the respect of those in not only Notts Healthcare but also the ICB, the ICS, primary care and secondary care.

Trudi is constantly inspiring those around her and having devoted her career to improving the lives of thousands of patients across Nottinghamshire, I can think of no person more deserving of an OSCAR! Well done Trudi.
