Virtual Black History Month 2021

Black History Month runs throughout October and this year’s theme is ‘Proud to Be…’. Traditionally Black History Month (BHM) is an annual celebration of the contribution that Black African and Caribbean communities have made both locally and across the world. This year we, as an Integrated Care System (ICS) partnership, are again using it as an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of all people of colour and are coming together in unity against racism, prejudice and injustice.

Our aim for this event is that people of all ethnicities and protected characteristics will come together to foster good relations and continue to move this important work forward.
