Prison Healthcare
Our prison healthcare teams provide primary healthcare, mental healthcare and substance misuse services to people in prison and immigration removal centres.
We provide healthcare into prisons across the East Midlands. We also provide services into the Morton Hall Immigration Removal Centre.
We aim to provide prison healthcare that is at least as good as healthcare in the community.
We strive to make a positive impact on the lives of prisoners, improving their health, securing their wellbeing and reducing reoffending behaviour.
Accessing our services
You will be referred to the health service on reception at the prison. If you need to access services at a later stage you should approach a member of the healthcare team or prison staff.
