Additionally, staff have shared their career stories to show the variety of career pathways open to people who join the Trust.
Clare Teeney, Executive Director of People and Culture said: “I am really excited that we are launching our recruitment microsite today – our one stop shop for all vacancies and career opportunities. Internal and external candidates will be able to find all the information they need to support their application. It will also provide tips and advice to enhance the recruitment experience. If you are applying for a job, looking for a job and/or want to explore career opportunities a great range of information can be found on the site. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in making this a reality for us.”
Nottinghamshire Healthcare recently celebrated fantastic results in the National NHS Staff Survey – scoring above average in areas including for care of patients, adequate adjustments and if staff would recommend it as a place to receive treatment. Most importantly, the results highlighted that the majority of Trust staff feel engaged and listened to and would recommend the Trust as a place to work.
There are many opportunities available in the Trust which provides services across not only Nottinghamshire, but also in Leicester and South Yorkshire, and in prisons across the East Midlands. Services vary from general health inpatient and community services, mental health services from high secure to low settings, and in the community for adults and older people, and mental health services for children and adolescents.
A brand new hospital for people in need of mental health inpatient care and treatment is due to open later this year and the Trust is offering many opportunities for people to work at this exciting new development. Based near Mansfield, Sherwood Oaks is newly refurbished and will offer the highest quality environment for people to be cared for and staff to work in.
Julie Attfield, Executive Director of Local Mental Health Services said: “We are so excited about the new facility at Sherwood Oaks and are looking for people to join us in making this a leading centre for the care and treatment of people with mental health needs. We are offering some great opportunities in a variety of clinical and non clinical roles, so please visit our new recruitment site to find out how you can join our team and a really exciting future.”
