Trauma Informed Care is now considered to be a central pillar of forensic practice. The need for this has been highlighted by the findings in the literature
that the extent of trauma of different kinds is very significant in forensic populations. The Trust is holding this conference which aims to provide those attending with a view of trauma focussed work and trauma informed care as it is now evolving in secure settings and prisons. It will focus on both new ways of thinking about interventions and systemic change.
