The Trust has officially opened its redeveloped Blossomwood site, marking a significant investment in modern mental health care facilities for older adults across Nottinghamshire.
Seven years ago, Evie Newman, from South Nottinghamshire, was discharged from Hopewood, a purpose-built facility for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Perinatal Services, run by Nottinghamshire Healthcare, after struggling with an eating disorder. Whilst there she experienced first-hand the profound impact that compassionate professionals can have during some of the most difficult moments in a person's life.
The Trust recently took part in Nottingham City Council's Big Nottingham Travel Challenge, an initiative encouraging people across the city to choose healthier, more sustainable ways to travel, hosted by Nottingham City Council.
A striking exhibition of nature-inspired artwork was on display at Bulwell Riverside, following a series of creative workshops hosted at Highbury Hospital Community Garden and led by visual artist Jane Stockley.
