A public briefing and feedback event will give people the chance to find out more about plans to better join up health and care in Greater Nottingham.
Patients and citizens can give their views and ask questions at the special event on Wednesday 1 November from 10am to 12midday at The Albert Hall, North Circus Street, Nottingham, NG1 5AA.
The event is being organised by the Greater Nottingham Transformation Partnership, which is made up of local NHS organisations and other health providers, Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council.
Work is underway after the NHS nationally named Greater Nottingham as an ‘accelerator’ site to find ways to remove barriers between organisations and create what could look like an Accountable Care System. This part of the wider Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP).
No one in England has tried this before on such a large scale across all of health and social care in one place, so the views of the public are vital in making sure this work moves forward in the right way.
To reserve a place at the event, please contact our Patient Experience Team at nnestccg.pet@nhs.net or call 0800 028 3693 (Option 2).
