In June 2019, the Trust launched Green Impact, a sustainability behaviour change scheme in which teams across the organisation register for a workbook of actions that once complete,deliver sustainability improvements.
An amazing 69 teams signed up and completed actions, saving the Trust thousands of pounds and engaging hundreds of staff and patients.
Following audits from local students and Trust volunteers, 19 of our teams have completed enough actions to receive an award.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the award ceremony we had planned to celebrate our achievements together has been postponed. While we wait until this can be rescheduled, we wanted to celebrate the success of all those involved and announce the results! We have created a short video to celebrate the successes we have seen.
Congratulations to everybody who took part. Green Impact will relaunch later in 2020 and is open to all teams in the Trust.
