Celebrating our incredible nurses on International Nurses Day
On 12 May International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth and the founder of modern nursing.
There is no better time during this current crisis than to shine a light on our incredible nurses, who have gone above and beyond anything we could have imagined. It’s also an opportunity to say thank you for their diverse talents and expertise and for the huge impact they make to the lives of our patients and their families.
Nurses make up the largest numbers of the workforce in the NHS. The Trust has over 2600 nurses.
