This is a listening and learning event for Carers, families, and friends to shape the design of safe, inclusive, person-centred care for everyone at Notts Healthcare.

 

We will focus on at this event:

• Listening and talking about the issues important to Carers, families, and friends to improve their experience of our services.
• Sharing the big picture of why getting the partnership right with carers, families and friends delivers better outcomes for everyone.
• Spotlight the Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework (PCREF) to listen and talk about how we eliminate the racial disparity in accessing, experience and outcomes that Black communities face.
• Building trust, confidence, and partnership approaches with carers, families and friends to enable more and better feedback and challenge.
• Celebrate and share examples of best practice within Nottingham/shire and wider system (other trusts, third sector etc..) for supporting, listening and involving carers, families, and friends.

 

This event is for:

• Carers, families, and friends, from across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire who's loved one has used Notts Healthcare Foundation Trust Services
• Those with lived experience of services provided through Notts Healthcare foundation NHS Trust - Mental Health Services (Children, Adults and those in later life including inpatient services and community services), Community Services (including Offender healthcare services and Specialist intellectual & developmental disability services) and Forensic Care services (high - Low secure and community services).

We will cover out of pocket expenses for people to attend this event if you are a carer or some with lived experiences of our services. Refreshments, including a hot lunch will be included.
