Children in Care (CIC) and Adoption Nursing Team
The Children in Care (CIC) and Adoption Nursing Team provides statutory Review Health Assessments (RHA) for children and young people in care.
We support children and young people living in Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire and Bassetlaw. This includes children with an adoption plan and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC).
Our team offers a caring and supportive service that looks at all aspects of a child's health and wellbeing.
Our aim is to improve health and wellbeing and help every child and young person reach their full potential.
We work closely with a range of professionals and carers, including:
- Community paediatricians
- GPs
- Schools and education services
- Social workers
- Foster carers
- Parents and family members
- Residential care staff
- Health visitors
- School nurses
- Staff in secure settings
- Other health and social care services
Service opening hours
Service opening time 8am-5pm Monday to Friday (except bank holidays)
Appointments can also be offered out of work hours (Monday to Friday) if required.
