Volunteer of the Year Award


Image of handover Volunteer of the Year award Volunteers are an integral part of our Trust and this award recognises and celebrates their achievements and the valuable contribution they make to our services.

This award is for a volunteer who goes above and beyond what is expected of them, demonstrating dedication, commitment and drive to make a difference. This award is open to anyone who works for the Trust in an unpaid capacity.

 

In addition to the core criteria the judges will be looking for evidence of:

  • How the individual has made a significant difference to the lives of service users, patients, carers and/or staff/other volunteers.
  • How this person has exceeded what would normally be expected of them and demonstrated their outstanding commitment and enthusiasm to their role as a volunteer.
  • In doing what they do, how ambitious/creative/ innovative and/or dedicated are they? And how much do they listen to the views of other people - such as the people who use our services, carers, staff/volunteers and other partners?
