Educator of the Year Award

This award is for an individual or team who has given colleagues or students on placement with us a fantastic learning experience.

We are passionate about making the Trust a great place to work and our staff tell us that opportunities for ongoing learning and development are incredibly important to realising that ambition. The winner of this award will be an individual or team who has gone above and beyond to support their colleagues or students with their education and learning.

In addition to the core criteria the judges will be looking for evidence of:

• How learners are involved with practice to ensure they maximise their learning
• How learners are given opportunities to develop their own skills
• What measures individuals/teams have put in place to support learners effectively
• How learners are made to feel valued members of the team during their attachments
• How the individual/team uses their knowledge to educate their learners
• The extent to which multidisciplinary team effort has supported the learning environment
• Feedback to support the above
