What research is and why it's important.

We strive to deliver the very best care to patients and service users and findings from research studies are what define best care. We call this evidence based care.

You can find out more about clinical trials from the NHS websiteHealthTalk's website and the NIHR's website.

What is it like taking part in research?

Feedback from participants in research is important to help us deliver the best service we can to those who participate in our research studies

Find out more about the feedback we have from research participants at our Trust at Participant in Research Experience Survey (PRES).

Find a research study you can participate in.

To find a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) study that you might be eligible to participate in you can explore the Be Part of Research website to find studies in a specific disease or geographical area.

The website also has more information about what research is and what it means to take part.

Should you need further assistance or wish to contact us to explore opportunities at the Trust you can email us at research@nottshc.nhs.uk.
