Tuesday 25th April was the official opening of the fantastic new Involvement, Experience and Volunteering Hub at Duncan Macmillan House (DMH).
Ifti Majid, Chief Executive, and Paul Devlin, Trust Chair, were delighted to join current Volunteers, Involvement Partners, and colleagues at the opening with the official ribbon cutting made by Gordon Taylor our Volunteer of the Year 2021/22 OSCAR winner.
The opening follows the move from the previous location to new dedicated space within DMH which provides a fully refurbished and accessible facilities. The Involvement, Experience, and Volunteering Hub is a safe space to support and enable great working with our Volunteers, Involvement Partners, and Carers and offers a main meeting room with interactive screens for hybrid meetings and training to be held, together with access to smaller meeting spaces for one-to-one conversations. The opening of the Hub together with the existing Hub at Rosewood Ollerton, marks the next steps in developing how we support more and better opportunities for Volunteers and Involvement Partners to work with us all to achieve better outcomes for patient and carers.
A big thanks for everyone who helped make this happen and who joined us on the day.
